Not only is the governor of Florida delusional in his perception of justice, but he has gone down the rabbit hole of violent extremism. Support of a blatant murderer reveal signs of a narcissistic state of mind that champions cruelty and violence over the right to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to appease the Trump base of vigilantism, this man has violated the divine laws of righteousness, compassion, and justice. According to an WFLA news report and his personal Twitter feed; \u201cGov. Ron DeSantis voiced his support for Daniel Penny, the Marine charged in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely, in a tweet Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe must defeat the Soros-Funded DAs, stop the Left\u2019s pro-criminal agenda, and take back the streets for law abiding citizens,\u201d DeSantis wrote in a tweet with a fundraiser for Penny\u2019s legal funds. \u201cWe stand with Good Samaritans like Daniel Penny. Let\u2019s show this Marine\u2026 America\u2019s got his back.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penny caused national outrage after he put Neely, a Michael Jackson impersonator who had been dealing with mental health issues and homelessness, in a chokehold for about 15 minutes on a New York City subway, according to a witness that spoke to NBC New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nexstar affiliate WPIX reported<\/a> that a medical examiner determined that Neely\u2019s death was a homicide caused by compression of the neck from the chokehold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protests began after officers let Penny go Monday without any charges. Penny and his attorneys said the defendant acted in self-defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDaniel never intended to harm Mr. Neely and could not have foreseen his untimely death,\u201d said his lawyers, Thomas Kenniff and Steven Raiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Court records did show that Neely had an extensive arrest record \u2014 including attacks on the subway system, according to Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Neely\u2019s family said while he was behaving erratically, he was not attacking anyone at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMr. Neely did not attack anyone. He did not touch anyone. He did not hit anyone. But he was choked to death.\u201d said Done Mills, an attorney for Neely\u2019s family. \u201d [Penny] acted with indifference. He didn\u2019t care about Jordan, he cared about himself. And we can\u2019t let that stand.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A video showing the chokehold incident also showed a witness warning Penny to let Neely go or he could kill him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou gonna kill him now\u2026I\u2019m tellin\u2019 you,\u201d the witness said in the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One New York City official condemned Penny\u2019s actions as vigilante justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
