Most people who escape a near death experience have \u2013 if only for a brief second \u2013 a moment of clarity and reflect on their life choices; who they are and what type of person they are in case they meet the unknown. Some change their entire personality and become a better person yet some move on from that brief moment unrepentant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the case of the attempted assassination, God has caught the religious right in their game by calling their bluff. If the attempt was faked, like many seem to believe, this makes his efforts at regaining the presidency fraudulent and deceptive. However, if it was not faked and God truly saved his life, he should reflect on his past behavior and maybe consider what God wants him to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone who is chosen of God, as the religious right claims he is, would have a mandate from God to do His will and be compelled to complete a mission ordained by Him. Therefore, if this man is called and ordained, he must do God\u2019s will, which by the words of Jesus Christ, is to love his enemies, feed the poor, and heal the sick and all the other beatitudes in the sermon on the mount; not from the Old Testament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If he does not do these things and moves forward in his plans to take retribution against his enemies, deport immigrants, turn back time to the days of gender and racial oppression and push a religious agenda on society, he will not be doing God\u2019s will and would be considered the antithesis of God, which would make him an antichrist spirit and all those who follow him damned fools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So yes, the religious right is in a corner and have to insist that this man does God\u2019s will. They cannot talk of bloodshed, open rebellion and retribution against people they hate. They have to discard their guns, make laws that are fair and just toward everyone, and make sure people are fed, housed, and healthy. If they do not, this means that God did not call him and is not on their side. The country would then be cursed for disobeying God. Howbeit, which is where the state of the country is today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The only other reason God would exalt this man into world power, if not to change the world for the good, would be to bring about the tribulation period, which would require WW3 and nuclear war. Given the state of the world and its conflicts, on top of Israel\u2019s actions in the middle east, it is not out of the question that this world is due for a change from God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
