Their military, economic, and cultural impact has waned in the face of many more advancing nations. Other nations such as China, India, South American and African nations have risen to meet the challenge of the US power structure.

Recently, these and other nations have formed a coalition and built a resistance to the dominance of US foreign policy on all fronts; militarily, economically, and as a judicial power against the human rights agenda of the US. BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), have discussed moving away from the U.S. dollar in recent years including at the 2024 BRICS Summit last month.

China now considers itself a world super power who can meet the US equally militarily and economically and stand as a role model and big brother to many other nations around the world. They hold a reputable voice and power at the “United Nations; an international organization that was founded in 1945 after World War II to maintain international peace and security. The UN is made up of 193 member states and is guided by the principles and purposes of its founding Charter.”

Many of the nations involved have reason and evidence to expel the US from the UN and establish world relations that excludes the US influence and take away their status among the world as dominant. If this happens, the US will be outcast to the world and will have to realign their priorities where it pertains to trade and negotiations, which will further weaken their existence.

To make matters worse, “President-elect Donald Trump recently demanded a group of developing countries commitment to the use of the U.S. dollar as their reserve currency and threatened to impose a 100 percent tariff if they attempt to abandon it.”

Despite the attempt by the reporting media platform to undermine the other nations involved in BRICS by calling them “developing countries,” these nations are on the verge of having the power to strip and devalue the US dollar of its power and diminish the US to a developing nation themselves. Once this is put into place, the US will become internationally obsolete.

His boastfulness and haste blurted out, “The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER, We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.S. Dollar or, they will face 100% Tariffs, and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful U.S. Economy.”

This is more a self-fulfilling prophecy than the threat he believes it is. The US simply does not have that kind of power any longer and the threats are weak and reeks of desperation against a rising world resistance. If there is a third world war, the US will definitely be on the losing end if these countries band together in self-defense against such ignorance.

American exceptionalism is weakening; white supremacy is weakening, and people around the world are sick and tired of US bullying and violent behavior. This type rhetoric from the in-coming president is going to further exacerbate the problem and bring about world conflict where the US may have to relinquish its power to another country and take a step back to reorganize and rethink its relationship toward humanity. The US is Nervous About BRICS; But Will Never Admit It

No longer does the US have the same dominance and influence on world affairs as they did in the 1940s and 50s after the second world war.
