(KCTV)<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.democraticunderground.com\/10143351458\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>Anthem Insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) has reversed course<\/em><\/strong><\/a> on a new policy of capping anesthesia coverage after a certain time limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What a waste of overeducated brain cells. Apparently, it seems medical CEOs want to get down and dirty in the streets with their customers because these CEOs are pushing their customer base to the brink of violence and outright protest beyond the multiple law suits they already face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From using AI to automatically delay, deny and dispose of insurance cases, now they want to charge patients extra for anesthesia if it exceeds the time allotted for doctors in surgery, plunging the patient further into medical debt. They are really asking for some smoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2024\/12\/05\/nx-s1-5217617\/blue-cross-blue-shield-anesthesia-anthem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>\u201cThe ASA says that by &#8220;arbitrarily&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/a> determining the time allotted for anesthesia care during a procedure, Anthem &#8220;will not pay anesthesiologists for delivering safe and effective care to patients who may need extra attention because their surgery is difficult, unusual or because a complication arises. That would leave patients to shoulder the out-of-pocket costs, which could range from hundreds to thousands of dollars.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outcome will eventually align with the murder of the United Health CEO for reasons unknown for sure in the motive of the killer. However, it is assumed that \u201c\u2026the backlash to the announcement was swift and has mounted this week, especially after the fatal shooting of the CEO of another health insurance company captivated social media and further cast a spotlight on the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/murdered-insurance-ceo-had-deployed-175638581.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>\u201cThough we don&#8217;t yet know the identity of the person who shot Thompson<\/em><\/strong><\/a> nor his reasoning, reports claim that he wrote the words &#8220;deny,&#8221; &#8220;defend,&#8221; and &#8220;depose&#8221; on the shell casing of the bullets used to shoot the CEO \u2014 a message that makes it sound a lot like the killer was aggrieved against the insurance industry&#8217;s aggressive denials of coverage to sick patients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one of their exorbitant excuses, Blue Cross CEOs of course, throw the patients under the bus by claiming it will somehow help them in the long run. \u201cOthers, however, say that standardizing anesthesiologists&#8217; pay at a fixed rate is actually beneficial for patients who might otherwise get overcharged \u2014 which is the argument Anthem is also making.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, if they were not overcharging from the get go, they would have no excuse to fall back on. Again, what a waste of overeducated, medical school brain cells. They have resorted to cruelty and hate against patients instead of caring one bit for them, which is their jobs, after they take extreme premiums year after year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE: KANSAS CITY, Mo.
