They Say, If We Stop Talking About Racism, It Will Go Away

As long as racism is built within the fabric of American life and in the hearts of white America, there will never be a day where people will simply accept it and not talk about it.

They Say, If We Stop Talking About Racism, It Will Go Away

Ok, let us dissect this theory right away. We can stop talking about racism but it will not go away. How about stop committing acts of racism and see what happens. They just do not want us to say anything when they commit racist acts. That is what it actually means. Do not hold us accountable for our bigotry and hate we tend to display when we are feeling ourselves.

The level of disrespect and offense this logic depicts says Black folks will believe our theory because they do not have the brains or critical thinking skills to decipher what this actually means. That, in itself is bigoted; undermining the intelligence of people you thought you were intellectually superior to.

This same logic applies to their theories of Critical Race Theory and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), as being a form of reverse racism because it actually divides us as a nation instead of uniting us as it is intended to do. They say the CRT and DEI does more harm than good because, “In attempting to create equality, they end up emphasizing difference.”

Again, this twisted form of logic falls short of appreciating the thinking skills of Blacks and only appeals to whites who believe it as true. Truth and logic say CRT and DEI would not be an issue if racism was not a reality. These concepts are in existence because of racism, otherwise, there would be no need to talk about it. See how this works?

They have taken this twisted form of logic and further applied it to laws such as protecting police officers who profile and commit acts of racism toward people of color. They have relabeled protest as riots if the protesters speak up against racism. They have even designed a process to criminalize people who attempt to use the voting system to express their dissatisfaction with racist governing. It never ends. They protect racism instead of trying to eliminate it.

As long as racism is built within the fabric of American life and in the hearts of white America, there will never be a day where people will simply accept it and not talk about it. There will never be another day where people of color will accept, with silence, second class citizenship under laws that specifically target them. And there will not be a day where white people can rest from their evil and wickedness. There is no peace for the wicked.

“But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20, 21.
