What If the Perpetrator was Trans, Liberal, An Immigrant or Black

With all due respect for Charlie Kirks wife and kids, we can all feel relieved that the murderer of Kirk was not trans, a Liberal, an immigrant, or a Black person, because if it had been any of those, the following days would have filled the streets with violence. The MAGA crowd and Christian nationalist who follow Kirk, were posting threats of Civil war, and all but called for Trump to dispatch the military against their perceived enemies. God may have saved many lives in the coming days.

They were ready to kill people and had literal targets in mind. They called liberals murderers and terrorist from the podcast channels to the office of the president, even before they knew who killed him. The readiness of Civil War and the bomb threats to HBCUs and Government buildings afterward, gives us a deep, dark look into the face of a nation filled with hate and itching for violence. Ironically, it was one of their own, (he was allegedly a gay, MAGA-raised political and Mormon extremist), so they changed the narrative and decided to pray for him and go to church instead.

Instead of taking accountability for what actually happened and the reasons why it happened, (including the violence of the gun culture), they quickly and irresponsibly reacted in haste. This shows their lack of interest in facts or truth and their thirst for blood. This political and cultural battle is getting all too real. What happens in the near future if an “other,” commits a crime against one of their other idols or chief leaders? Will every Democrat voter or person of color have to hide in their houses the next day?

Fortunately, it was not either of the above who murdered Kirk, because many innocent people may have died that day. God knew what He was doing and saved many lives. The bible says there is, “a time to be born, and a time to die;” Ecclesiastes 3:2. We also know that the Lord has the keys of death and of hell, Revelation 1:18, so we know that God took Kirk in his own time, but for what reason we do not know.

Yet his death can be counted as God’s will that has prophetically revealed what this nation has become and maybe a chance for it to repent and turn to Him for healing. But this is not the message MAGA got on the day of his death. They quickly pivoted toward violence, revenge, and calls to war all driven by hate and misinformation. They totally ignored whatever information came out in facts and investigation, and instead drew their own conclusions.

Too many on the right have claimed that people are mocking or celebrating Kirks death, and they hold to this theory regardless of how many people have publicly paid their respects to the man. If anything, more people reacted as they would any other catastrophe; they were shocked. Nevertheless, MAGA took a few clips and posts from social media of random people cheering and created the narrative and generalized that ALL liberals celebrated his death, which is elementary propaganda and classic gaslighting.

The current administration has taken it to the next level by calling for the removal of Civil Rights, free speech, and the prosecution of anyone who looks suspicious enough to say something negative. They are calling for private companies, the entertainment industry, and government offices to report anyone that have made a negative comment about Kirk’s death. This is authoritarianism at its strength.

They are forcing people to honor a man that many people did not even know existed. They have lowered the flag, had vigils, dropped banners and flyers, and dared anyone to say anything negative during these times. This also, is forced authoritarianism on the people. The prayer needed now is that they learn from this and turn and see the truth behind the danger of limited gun laws and political division, and they should seek for peace, respect toward others, and love for their neighbors.
