Bigotry Continues in College Admissions Despite Supreme Court Post Racist Logic
Racism still exists and is perpetual in this country. It is a sickness. All the more reason Blacks should attend HBCUs.

It happened just as expected. The reason Affirmative Action laws were put into place was because discrimination in America runs on a systemic playing field of public institutions. But contemporary logic coming from the highest court in the land backed faulty logic that swear we live in a post racial society.
Public opinion says that people of color should not be given special treatment where it pertains to hiring, college admissions, or government contracts because racism does not exist, that we are paranoid, and institutions do not discriminate in who they bring aboard. These are lies and we all know it.
But their need to erase the guilt of bigotry crawled from under the rocks they hide under and told on themselves. According to recent data after the overturning of Affirmative Action, “In recent years, Black, Latino, Native American and Pacific Islander students have accounted for 25% of MIT’s enrolling undergraduate classes, the university said. That number has declined to about 16% for the incoming class of 2028.
The high court’s ruling struck down affirmative action programs at the University of North Carolina and Harvard, with far-reaching consequences for other public universities. The court ruled that the schools’ affirmative action programs violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution and are therefore unlawful.”
We can safely assume that all other institutions who base their hiring on race data are doing the same; believing that America is a post racial society and discrimination does not exist. In addition, all the fuss over DEI will also contribute to the discrimination soon to come. But as usual, most companies will claim the same tired excuse and public statement that MIT did;
“Our commitment to the pursuit of diversity that advances MIT’s education will not waver, but our ability to achieve it will change. In the wake of the decision, MIT said it expanded its recruitment and financial aid initiatives that prioritized low-income students from all backgrounds.”
Racism still exists and is perpetual in this country. It is a sickness. All the more reason Blacks should attend HBCUs.
