Stand Down: The Current US Problems Are Not Ours
Rest assured, when the smoke clears, we may hold more power then than we have ever held in the history of this country. In the meantime, just stand down, watch and pray, and look out for those closer to you.

Though Black America make up around thirteen percent of the US population, the crises this country faces now is the making of their own incompetence. In the past, Blacks have been the center focus on changes in this country, from the abolition of slavery, reconstruction, and the Civil Rights Movement, even to the point of the election of the first Black president and its repercussions.
But this time, Blacks are not at the center focus. This is a Constitutional crisis that must be handled by the majority white population and there is nothing we can add to or take away from this battle. Yes, we are a part of the country and when it catches a cold, Blacks get pneumonia, so we will feel the backlash but not as much as whites will in the end.
Because in their quest to harm Blacks and other people of color, they blindly voted against their own interest this time to a devastating degree. They picked a man who not only has a vendetta against Blacks and others, but he has no concern for them either. His only concern is those who can make him personally wealthy or who can do him favors using the system itself.
This time does not require us to fight like hell for our lives or any rights because the whole country, all races, are about to feel the crunch of its driving force, which is greed and the power grab of the wealthy. They have backed themselves into a corner because of these two vices, and only they can free themselves from the consequences. The only thing Black America can do is to sit back and watch what happens.
We have to mind our business, go about our lives, and pray that when it all hits the fan, we will come out unscathed from the aftermath. But we cannot forget our commitment to the human race despite what color or race of people seek our help and advice. We have the skills to survive through many transitions of social disorder, but we cannot do anything that would make major change when the problem is affecting everyone including us. They need to put in the work this time.
This is a problem facing us all and will at some point require us to take a stand with what knowledge we have. But once this comes into play, we must first think our ourselves but not on a selfish level, but on a level that we know through years of oppression; which is to defend ourselves. Rest assured, when the smoke clears, we may hold more power then than we have ever held in the history of this country. In the meantime, just stand down, watch and pray, and look out for those closer to you.
