Perfect Example of Why New Versions of the Holy Bible Distort the Truth of God’s Word

The New International Version (NIV) of the Holy Bible along with the ESV and the New American Standard Bible, the (NASB), and all other new versions printed after the 1970s, distort the Word of God and mislead people into false doctrine, which puts them on the road to damnation.
Bible scholars will analyze the Bible from a Greek and Hebrew standpoint and swear they have received a newer and better understanding of God’s word but are actually making excuses for dismissing the King James Version – one of the longest running versions in Christian history – and replacing its words with their own words and meaning.
One passage will show that each new version has misinterpreted a vital instruction from the Lord that men are more comfortable with instead of using the KJV’s meaning. St. Matthew 5:32 of the KJV’s original verse reads, “but I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.”
Here is what men printed in the new versions, “But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.”
Take notice of the specific word “fornication” in the KJV’s verse. In the newer versions, this word is changed to “sexual immorality,” which does not mean the same thing as fornication and cleverly takes away from the truth of God’s word and its impact on the behavior and salvation of the believer.
Sexual immorality can mean anything from having sex outside of marriage to homosexuality, bestiality, oral sex, pedophilia, rape, or anything that a person uses their body to commit a sexual act.
However, fornication has only one meaning, having sex outside of marriage and sleeping around with different people. The reason they changed this word to another is because they could broaden the meaning of fornication from its original meaning and context in the KJV giving people more reasons to divorce their spouse.
But here is where God catches them in a lie. Even if they used the word fornication instead, a person cannot commit fornication when they are married, they can only commit adultery. The scripture says, “Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.” 1 Corinthians 7:2. The words "sexual immorality" are not even written in the Word, it always says fornication.
But with the change in words, they are giving people not only a chance to leave their spouse because of fornication, but because of any sexually immoral act. This attempt by men is a prime example of false doctrine, deception and a lie.
The mystery within the verse of 5:32 means that a person can only put away their spouse while they are engaged to be married, not after they have physically come together, which constitutes a marriage in the eyes of God. Paper means nothing except as an ordinance in the world. Once a man and woman lay with each other, they are married in the sight of God. But only if they are saved. Please read the Mystery of Marriage.
There are many other examples of how men have distorted the words and context of the Holy Bible by changing words and taking them out of context to fit their new false doctrines. The reason they do this is because they do not have revelation or inspiration from the Holy Ghost, they only worship God in the flesh and from their own minds. They, “having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:5.
