Too Many Christians Fear Satan and the Made Up Woke Culture

Many Christians stand behind their vote for and belief in conservative policies because they are worried about the so-called woke culture effecting their children’s lives. Woke meaning people who support abortion, homosexuality, and cultural equality. Some have even gotten to the point they have almost criminalized Democrat voters and resorted to name calling them demons, witches, perverts, and baby killers.

There are pastors who say if someone vote for the Democrats, they cannot be a true Christian. This is very dangerous thinking and is based in fear and torment. Not to mention that there are many conservatives who have had or given abortions, are homosexuals, and believe in white supremacy. The devil has these people in the bondage of fear and have weakened their faith in Christ and God’s power. The scriptures clearly say, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.

Of course, abortion and homosexuality are sins against self, but these are individual sins that those who commit will have to give account of when they stand before God. The spirits behind these sins can be combatted by believers if they have faith in God and use their authority to bind these spirits in their lives and protect their children. Similar sins are committed by both Democrat and conservative voters through lust of the flesh and heart, covetousness, fornication, adultery, lying, idolatry, and other immoral sins against self and others.

These are also spirits that roam the land seeking whom they may devour; and who are weak in the flesh. The only way to fight off these spirits and be loosed from these fears is to have faith in the Lord and war against them with the weapons of spiritual warfare, not political policy. If these Christians truly had faith in God, they would acknowledge the scripture that tells them to raise their children in the ways of the Lord, and they will not depart from them. Proverbs 22:6.

If you do not believe in abortion, tell your children it is wrong. Likewise, teach them that homosexuality is a sin and against God’s true nature for humanity. Then you can only hope and pray for their safety. The people who practice the sins of abortion and homosexuality have been given over to a reprobate mind because they do not know or acknowledge God. Romans 1:28. They are people who have been taken captive by Satan and who need deliverance, not constant condemnation. These are the souls that Jesus came to save, not to condemn.

Teach your children to choose their company wisely. Tell them what evils to watch out for, which include evils such as drug use, violent and hateful people, conmen and scammers, lustful and covetous people; liars, cheaters, and the many other evils of society. Teach them honesty, the truth about things, generosity, kindness and how to make and maintain peace. Give them a home that practices these things and they will grow to expect these things in their lives.

Unfortunately, Christians who berate these sins and sinners are bombarded with fear and torment, thinking their children are going to someday succumb to these sins, so they worry constantly. Yet the life they live reveals their own hate and intolerance toward others, which they reap through their children. The scripture says, anything that is not of faith is sin. “And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” Romans 14:23.

These Christians are not operating in faith, but in fear. They run from the devil instead of standing up against him with the armor of God. They have a right to be afraid for their children but they are going about defeating these spirits the wrong way. Political policy will not stop the devil and his angels. Prayer and faith are the key tools needed.

Other aspects of the so-called “woke,” culture Christian’s fear is the true history of America and its sins against humanity, which is why they stand behind banning and burning books, racial history lessons, immigrant diversity, and formal education. They fear science and medicines, but again, having faith in God and doing the Word of God offers protection and deliverance from all evils of the world and gives understanding to all other ideologies. But Christians do not seem understand this because they lack true faith in God.

They even make up words to fear such as socialism, communism, and Marxism, none of which are mentioned in the Bible. Some evangelical preachers have taught that God is a capitalist, and such other political and economic nonsense. They are so engrained in political matters they have left off the Word of God and its simplicity in moral behavior.

The sad part is these fears have brought Christians into the bondage of hate, anger and treating those who suffer from these spirits as enemies and demons. They yell at, berate, and have cast off family members because of their choice of lifestyle, not understanding that they may need prayer and deliverance by longsuffering instead of being shunned. They have truly lost their light in the world and faith in God.

This mentality is not of God and is of the world and the flesh. The simple fact is Christians simply need to teach their children what is right and wrong and pray for their protection under the blood of Jesus and mercies of God. No one can foresee what will happen to their children in the future, which is why God teaches his children to have faith, patience, longsuffering and use the power and authority He has given them. If there are Christians who live in fear of the devil and his devices, maybe they are not Christian themselves.
