How God Exposed the Failed Prophecies of Evangelical Leaders

As far back as 2015 and a few years before, self-proclaimed men of God in Evangelical Christianity have prophesied that Donald Trump was divinely inspired to lead the country as president and do good things. But seeing the chaos that has transpired since then, the world knows that it was all lies told by men who have no understanding of God and His will.

A group of self-appointed preachers and so-called prophets, who make up the leaders in an organization called NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) movement, took to their pulpits and Youtube channels to declare that God had anointed Trump as the 45th and the 47th president. They gathered this prophecy from the 45th chapter of Isaiah, where one preacher, Lance Wallnau claimed he heard from God that “Isaiah 45 would reveal the identity of the 45th president.” He and his prophet associates automatically attached this calling to Donald Trump.

But it is not a hard thing to predict a future president when demographics, past voting data, and the mood of the country can be determined by nothing more than a hunch. After the second presidency of Barak Obama, the country was ripe for anyone to come in and make change. Now we know why. Because white America needed a white man to resurrect their image as superior to people of color, and Donald Trump was the man for the job. God would never anoint a person to validate white supremacy.

This false prophecy of Isaiah 45 spread like wild fire throughout the evangelical church down to mega-church doctrine and even small rural churches; that Trump was chosen by God to lead the country. Isaiah 45 reads; “Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;” To equate Isaiah 45 with the numerical 45th presidency was an elementary tactic children use in guessing games.

From that point, Trump was exalted as a second King Cyrus that would lead the Israeli people into an end times deliverance. Another theory derived from this false prophecy was that this succession of Israel would lead to the second coming of Christ in time to come. It was all lies that permeated throughout the church to the detriment of the nation, and world.

At some point after Trump became president in 2016, word reached Israel and its leaders that this new King Cyrus would become a milestone in the restoration of Jerusalem. As a result, Israeli leaders printed a coin to show their solidarity with the false prophecy. In February 2018, Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the false prophecy gained momentum. US Evangelicals were sure that Trump was the man God has chosen for the redemption of Israel and the spiritual resurrection of the United States.

Evangelical theory was that God can take a pagan leader, despite his fleshly flaws, and use him for His purpose. Nevertheless, this was far from the truth. Trump was never anointed by God on the same spiritual realm as Cyrus was anointed. Being anointed by God under the rule of Jesus Christ in grace means that the man God anoints becomes a vessel for good, and not evil. What Trump has done to this country’s values and morals are far from good, and reek of wickedness, evil, violence and corruption.

Unfortunately, evangelicals have tried unsuccessfully to put lipstick on a pig to make their prophecy seem legitimate. God has exposed their lies each time this man has implemented his policies. The policies prove to be cruel toward immigrants, destructive on the economy for working people, and violence toward other countries. Instead, evangelicals have intertwined with a nation that has committed war crime after war crime across the globe. Israel today, is not the Israel of the Bible during the time of Cyrus, but a man-made country sown tightly to the politics of western imperialism and greed. This is a great deception believed by evangelicals.

Lance Wallnau, along with a number of Christian Evangelical leaders such as Kim Clement, Mark Taylor, Jeremiah Johnson, Michael Brown, Franklin Graham, Jerry Falwell, Jr., Paula White, Kenneth Copeland, John Macarthur, Robert Jeffress, John Hagee and James Dobson, are some of the leading names of Christian nationalist who have stood by this false notion of God’s anointing of Trump.

There are many other false preachers and Youtube minions who have gained and mislead hundreds of thousands of followers based on this false prophecy. They have tried to justify ICE deportations and concentration camps, murders of US citizens, and a failing economy from tariffs, an oil crisis in the middle east caused by an unnecessary war, and political corruption that runs so deep in the system it will take years to repair.

They are indirectly supporting a world-wide network of pedophiles, Trump being the main suspect; a sharp rise in racism in the country, hatred for the Muslim faith, violence against homosexuals, trans people, and anyone of color who are not profiled as a white Christian believer under their banner of the United States being a Christian nation, which is clearly a lie. This can be proven by simple history and document search. They have abandoned all dedication to the US constitution, the rule of law, and ethics in the sciences, history, and basic humanity.

What is sadder is they have walked away from the teachings of Christ with every step towards this false prophecy to the point they have done this all based on a nation falsely built by man. The bible clearly explains how Israel and the Jewish people have been scattered throughout the world until the fulfillment of the Gentiles have come in. “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Luke 21:24.

False evangelical prophets and church members truly wanted to believe that Trump would be good for the US but realized after his second term that he was just a fraud and always have been. They realized their mistake and began to either back off of their support or stubbornly continued to stand behind anything he did regardless of how obviously wrong and ungodly it was. Many changed their sermons and teaching subjects and returned to teaching about salvation to their audience, but who would listen to their teachings when they were so wrong about a great prophecy they claimed came from God himself?

The hypocrisy is wild and the exposure is deep. This is why preachers should never mix politics and religion. The scripture says; “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.” 1 Timothy 5:22. Politics is a game that requires lying, bribery, and greed, which are all sins of the flesh. Both political parties are guilty of these sins and should never be supported by anyone who follows Jesus Christ. The result of this presidency is a testimony as to how dangerous and blasphemous participating in worldly politics can be.

Trump was never anointed by God. He was chosen by the people who wanted to demonize and humiliate their opponents in the other party. Many preachers went as far as to label those who opposed Republican policies and Trump as demons, rebellious to God, and basically degenerates of society. Now they are considered communist. Preachers who did not directly support Trump, did support Republican policies, all which have destroyed the US economy, social relations, family ties, and international relationships with the world.

They taught their members and followers that Democrat policies were evil because of abortion and homosexuality but left off the sins of Republican policies, which consisted of hate, greed, violence, adultery, sexual assault, and many other sins of the flesh. Again, the hypocrisy is real and God exposed it all one by one with proof in articles, news exposes, and hard data that show the evils of right-wing policy.

Anyone who continues to follows these men and women who continually idolize Donald Trump and the lie that God anointed him to lead this country are truly blind to reality and have no understanding of the Word of God or His will for humanity. The world is a worse place since the leadership of this man. Israel is not in last day prophecy and restoring Jerusalem to Israel will not bring Christ back. The second coming of Christ is a day unknown to anyone on this earth and all prophecies that Trump is the last trumpet of God is also a lie.

What we should be concerned about now is the chaos this man has caused around the world and the wars that are raging. The lord has said: “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:10. If anything comes from the leadership of Trump, it will be a war on earth that will kill millions, maybe billions of people. And that is not the work of the Lord, but the work of man and his greed, hate, and violent nature. It is the doing of the prince of this world who is Satan and his demons.

None of these false prophets have acknowledged their mistakes but continue to uphold their lies. They collect money for their ministries, continue to teach false doctrine, and have not repented to God or apologized to their followers and members for leading them astray. They will soon regret the lies and face the wrath of God. But it may be too late for them. 

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” Hebrews 6:4-6.
