Sacrifice Your Life to Christ

Who can walk away from their comfort zone riddled with sin and willingly enter into a world of lack yet graced with peace. Not many. Many people do not have the will-power or discipline to sacrifice the pleasures of the world for a life of peace and dignity.

This is a concept of Biblical principle: to sacrifice a life of short lived pleasure for a life of righteousness and peace. For example, when Moses walked away from being prince of Egypt and chose to suffer with his people in the bondage of slavery.

Hebrews 11 reads:

24. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

25. Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

It takes dignity and faith in God to believe that the choice to endure the long-suffering of righteousness will bring reward that will last much longer than the rewards and pleasures of sins.

Patience is the key to bringing forth the promises of God. Sin is easy and the rewards are momentary, but the recompense of righteousness last forever and is better for the human soul and spirit. Hard core faith is this: “Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.” (Hebrews 11:26).

Fear and bondage keeps people bound to the life of sin and lustful pleasures. They do not believe that there are rewards in being a good person or living a decent life. The devil has convinced them that they have to get what they want now and take it by force or they will never have anything. ALL LIES.

The promises of God bring prosperity and a good life with peace. You have to leave behind all things past and believe in the promises of God to receive the rewards of God.

Hebrews 11 reads:

27. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

God is good. Love is good. Life is better with God.
