Technically, God is Pro Choice Because We All Have Free Will
What is the difference between a police officer or soldier killing someone at the request of the state and a woman aborting her child? They are both a form of murder which is forbidden of God. There is no difference.
What is the difference between a police officer or soldier killing someone at the request of the state and a woman aborting her child? They are both a form of murder which is forbidden of God. There is no difference. However, both the officers and the woman have a choice to commit the murder or not. This is considered God’s natural law of free will, and choice.
This is not a political stand for or against abortion, but a lesson on righteousness. Basically, all men who allow murder under government rule should be held accountable for murder if doctors and others who partake in accompanying a woman to abort her child are charged as such.
Many people will obviously misinterpret this message with ill intent because they are blind to God’s law of free will. However, God has given all of humanity the right to choose life or death. He encourages that we choose life, but He will never override a person’s free will.
In Deuteronomy 30:19, God clearly lays this plan out for the children of Israel, which eventually goes out to all humanity under the New Covenant. The scripture reads, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
The idea behind God’s decree was to leave the choice of life and death to the discretion of every human being. He never forces His will on anyone. As believers of Christ and of God, neither should practicing Christian’s force others to abide by the natural laws of life, even though choosing life would be their best option suggested by God.
If a person or a pregnant woman decides to end their life, the lives of others, or the life of their unborn, though it would be a sin to do so, or even against the law, God leaves that choice to the individual and has never taken their free will from them. Yes, it is ethically encouraged that people do the right thing and abide by God’s laws, but they still have a choice whether they want to or not.
The same goes for people who have been given the right by man’s government to carry a gun and protect themselves; or to take the life of someone else based on their own discretion. It is wrong to take someone’s life for menial reason, but even man by law, has given others the choice to do so. Though it is wrong to murder, and against the law of the land and of God, that option is obviously still given to men, by other men, to do so.
To enforce government laws that punish people for disobeying God in particular areas is not godly, so to speak, the godly thing to do is to set the laws and allow people to choose their own destiny, as is done in allowing gun rights. Punishment comes naturally by disobeying God as stated in the scriptures. Whether it be for the individual or their children; as a blessing of life or as a curse.
Blessings and cursing’s are the laws of human nature. God has literally set this in stone, so man should not become Lord over His laws and humanity to implement their own laws and choices above what He has decreed. To do so is sin within itself. “…neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.” 1 Peter 5:3,4.
Ministering to people is the mission of believers. We are not to become judge, jury and executioners over what God has already done. We must teach people the laws of God and if they choose to obey or not is up to them. It would naturally be good for people to choose life and blessings but not all people have faith.
