The Act of Abortion is a Curse on a Rebellious Nation
Procreation is a blessing to humanity but when a nation ignores God’s blessing and undermines the value of life, they can expect the consequences, which is depopulation of that nation.
Abortion is only one act in a long line of curses on a nation that has gone astray from God. In the book of Hosea 9:7, God tells Ephriam, a descendent of Joseph, what they were doing wrong and why He was about to curse them;
“The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.”
Then in verses 11-16, He promises Israel that He would reduce their population by limiting their ability to give birth and by turning their children over to murderers, and that He would remove His love from them.
As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!
Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.
Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
So, women who decide to have an abortion are all a part of God’s curse to limit the nation’s ability to pro-create and then diminish their population. They have been turned over to a murderous mentality that not only includes aborted fetuses, but murdered children, young men, and the innocent in wars, mass shootings, and the genocide of others and themselves.
Abortion is not an issue that can be solved with political policies or laws, it is one that must be addressed at its root to remove the curse on a nation that is full of ignorance, hatred, and iniquity, and primarily the rejection of God’s law.
Rape also, (btw rapist should be put to death Deuteronomy 22:25), is the result of a nation gone astray. A nation mired in sexual immorality and lust, which bring the consequences of adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, pedophilia and disease.
God’s will is that humanity be fruitful and multiply and that woman will bring forth children in sorrow. Procreation is a blessing to humanity but when a nation ignores God’s blessing and undermines the value of life, they can expect the consequences, which is depopulation of that nation.
