Military Commanders have adopted Christian Nationalist false doctrine by telling soldiers the war in Iran is a war of Armageddon to bring the second coming of Christ. This is wrong on so many biblical and logical levels. The flaw is they have the timeline wrong and put the cart before the horse.

They believe and teach the “battle of Armageddon” will bring the return of Christ. But the Bible clearly says Jesus comes first and the battle comes years after. In fact, according to the prophesy and timeline in Revelation, the Bible does not refer to this day as “the battle of Armageddon,” but the great day of God Almighty at Armageddon. And no one living today will be alive during that great day.

Some commanders in the U.S. military are apparently telling service members that they’re on a mission to fulfill biblical prophecy. Commanders are describing the war as “biblically sanctioned” and “clearly the undeniable sign of the expeditious approach of the fundamentalist Christian ‘End Times’ as vividly described in the New Testament Book of Revelation.”

If they were true bible scholar’s and followers of Christ, and actually read their bibles, they would know the truth. But it seems they have dismissed the prophesy of the bible and instilled their own interpretation of the last days based on their politics.

First of all, the man-made nation of Israel is not occupied by true Israelites, Hebrews or Jews. Jesus says this multiple times throughout the Old and New Testaments. He says that that land is desolate because Israel refused to obey him and chose to worship other Gods. So, the whole premise of fighting for Israel is based on a heretical theory.

“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” Revelation 3:9.

Also, the Jews are the ones who killed him so that in itself caused them to be blinded to the prophesies of Jesus and His coming, as He scattered them across the world, and grafted in gentile nations to build His church under a New Covenant.

Third, the mark of the beast must be enacted worldwide before that great day of God Almighty at Armageddon. This comes only after the dragon (Satan), the beast and the false prophet are unleashed on the world. Once they are loose, they gather the kings of the earth together to prepare for that great day of God Almighty at Armageddon.

“For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” Revelation 16:14, 16.

The actual battle does not happen until Christ returns to earth with his army of saints, his bride the church. If there are any so-called Christians on earth at this time, they must have not taken the mark of the beast and would have needed to survive the great tribulation, the plagues of the seven seals, the judgment of the seven trumpets, and God’s wrath of the seven vials.

Not until the sixth vial is poured out, does the dragon, the beast and the false prophet gather together the kings of the earth “into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” Revelation 16:13-16.

The battle takes place after a thousand-year reign of Christ and peace on earth. During this time, Satan is bound in the bottomless pit and then he is released after the thousand years are done. “and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20:3.

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.” Revelation 20:7.

Furthermore, the second coming of Christ happens before any of the above. He comes to get His church, all born again believers, at the time of the abomination of desolation, who stands in the holy place and claims to be God.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4. (This person could actually turn out to be the anointed of Christ that Christian Nationalist claim is Donald Trump).

Unfortunately, Christian Nationalist believe that if they bring a war, Christ will come, but Christ is only coming when the sun is darkened and the moon does not give its light and the stars of heaven are shaken. When the elements melt with a fervent heat. (2 Peter 3:10).

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:” Matthew 24:29.

When he comes during this time, they can be sure they will not be saved by Christ under these circumstances if they have caused war, destruction, and millions are dead because of them, because all murderers will have their part in the lake of fire.

In summary, Jesus comes first because of great tribulation and gets his church; God begins judgment on the world with the seals, the trumpets, and the vials, and the mark is distributed. The dragon, the beast and the false prophet gather the nations together and wait for the return of the Lord, which would be His third coming with His armies, and lastly the battle of that great day of God Almighty at Armageddon. Revelation 20:7.

The independent journalist Jonathan Larsen reported that the Military Religious Freedom Foundation has received more than 110 complaints from service members about their commanders’ religious gloss on the war on Iran. These complaints, according to Larsen’s report, came from every branch of the military, across more than 40 different units, situated in at least 30 military installations.”
