Why is the US political system at the point it is today? Both political parties are to blame for the authoritarian decline of the US empire. They both missed the message the people were sending right before the 2016 election, which was they were sick and tired of the establishment system of the Clinton-Bush dynasties, which Obama represented in the shadows.
The people wanted real change and for their elected officials to take what they were demanding seriously. They wanted economic liberation. By 2016, the people were starting to realize that there was a default system in place that enriched certain people and left the populous behind. The system was the establishment; both Democrat and Republican.
The 2016 primaries included Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders on one side, and a host of traditional Republican establishment candidates on the other, and Donald Trump. The difference was Sanders and Trump were populous candidates that steered away from the traditional candidates. They spoke to the troubles and suspicions of the people over the ordinary rhetoric of the establishment two-party system.
Mysteriously, the democratic primary was lost by Sanders, which left Clinton as the only choice for a Democratic president. The people flat out rejected her by rejecting the establishment and voted for Trump instead, further rejecting the establishment Republicans.
When Trump tilted the country during his first term and people could see the type of damage he was capable of if kept in office, they bit their tongues and veered back to the Democrat party through Biden in 2020. The 2020 election was not stolen. Cleaning up Trump’s mess would take eight years but when Biden could no longer hold office, Harris was put in his place. But Harris further represented the Democrat Establishment all over again.
Nevertheless, the people were willing to take the chance because they could not stomach another Trump presidency and the coming agenda of Project 2025. This time the people wanted to return to normal and restart the Democracy that was lost. However, by this time, negative influences had poisoned the country and the cultural landscape shifted to hate instead of unity and patriotism.
The propagandist played the American people like violins using hate, fear, and misinformation. But they held their noses and voted for the Democratic candidate anyway. The problem this time was Trump had help in steering this election in his favor using Elon Musk and his technological tricks. Yes, the 2024 election was digitally and suspiciously tampered with. The proof of this is, most conservative voters regret their vote and swear they did not vote for the current chaos.
This whole 10-year political debacle was a series of unfortunate events in American politics. Based in manipulation and greed. Hillary lost because she reaped what she sowed by stealing from Sanders. Trump stoked racial and cultural division through revenge politics while he was president, and Biden took advantage the next go-round, but stubbornly held to establishment agendas.
But by this time, division and resentment was sown so deep into the American psyche and led to the uprise and takeover by all kinds of conspiracy nuts, grifters, racist, and patriarchy dominance. The damage has been done. Now the people face a dictator that will take the country to its lowest point.
According to this pattern, eventually and in the end, the country will recover from this tragedy and those who ruined it and their followers will return under the rock from which they came. This will happen because now the people can see who the true corrupters are and will chase them back under their rocks. The solution the country needs now is a leader who will take charge and call this what it is, a series of unfortunate events in the rejection of establishment politics that destabilized the country and created wealth inequality at its highest level.
A leader who will address the needs of the people and challenge the corruptors, such as the wealthy corporations, the racist, the conspiracy theorist, and the traditional establishment politicians who take bribes from corporate lobbyist. Someone who will rebuild a positive relationship with world allies, who will stop the military industrial complex, and finally take care of the people of the US economic needs, which is all they really wanted in the first place.
