All Prayer Warriors Please Pray this Prayer for 2023 and Beyond
As we look forward in this New Year and the years to come, we ask that all prayer warriors pray for this nation in its relation to the world. The United States desperately needs healing and the mercy and grace of God now and for the next generations to come. Here is a passage from the Word of God that we ask you add to your prayer list each time you go before the Lord.
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-4.
Please pray for this country that we heal from hate and division caused by Satan and his angels. Pray that families can mend and grow in love and not adversity. Pray for our youth that they have the guidance of the Lord in peace, honesty, and godliness. Pray that we can live without burdens of debt, crime, and senseless violence.
We need to pray for our enemies and not just our loved ones only. Pray for our neighbors and those who hate us that they learn the fear of God, which is the beginning of knowledge. Pray that we are able to live quietly and in peace with those we come into contact with each day, in our communities, our workplaces, and the marketplaces.
Pray for our leaders, those who hold our futures in their hands that they remember the poor and those who struggle against greed and oppression of wicked men and who seek to take advantage of the weak. We ask that you remember the poor and needy, the widows and fatherless, the single mothers and the sick. We ask that you pray for the homeless, the hungry, and the stranger.
Pray that those around us and strangers are protected from evil, hate, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Pray that God gives you the spiritual strength to bind the strongman, rebuke the proud, and to break the yokes of bondage on yourself and those who are bound, in captivity, and who need deliverance.
We need to be thankful and content for what we have and learn to be humble, generous, and that God strengthens us in the Word of truth and in the power of His Spirit. Pray that He draws others closer to him so they can learn of Him and receive His Holy Spirit, grace, and mercy. We always want others to prosper as we have so they can know God’s love and mercy.
Pray that evil men do not cause wars and that innocent people are not killed; that cities and towns are not bombed and that the Lord will move by His Holy Spirit to break the bands of the rulers of the darkness and the princes of the earth who thirst for innocent blood. And lastly, remember that you are not perfect and if you have offended or trespassed against anyone that you repent and ask for forgiveness.
Thank you, Happy New Year, and may God bless you in your walk with Christ Jesus.
