Seek the Holy Ghost, and You Will Find Salvation

We know the promise of God to those who love and believe in him is to deliver them from all trials and tribulations, but he is there for everything else also: for direction, advice, guidance, and many things pertaining to life.

Get on your knees and ask what you will. The Lord wants you to seek him for answers and direction in all things. He will hear you if you ask in love and sincerity. “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” (James 1:6).

The Lord will warn you of things to come, reveal to you good things on its way, show you who is good for your life and who is not. He will remove obstacle out of your way, and strengthen you with joy, peace of mind and security when you need it.

St. Luke chapter 11 reads:

9. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

The Holy Ghost is a gift from God to those who sincerely desire to know him and live for God. The Lord gives the Holy Ghost to all who seek for it; it is a promise to you and to your children. Having the Spirit of God gives you a direct channel to the things of the Kingdom.

13. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Trust in the Word and believe. “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” (St. Luke 12:32).
