A day is approaching that will go down in American history as a brutal time when the people finally rise up to take back their country from the brutish. In that day, all those who asked for the tragedy that got us here better run and hide because as history has taught us, you do not exploit the masses’ livelihood or hurt their children.
The harm wished on the few will definitely hit the many. When the many are affected, those who prayed for their demise will have to withstand the backlash when anger returns with a vengeance. The neglect and profound ignorance of the repercussions not considered will come back with a strong blow of reality.
When life becomes more unaffordable. When paychecks dry up and unemployment reaches sky-high records; when corporations decide AI and technology far outweighs the benefits of a working class. When police and the military are watching every step and turn we make and harassment becomes and everyday thing. When videos of brutality become unbearable. Who do you think the people will blame?
When and if a Civil War breaks out that is wanted so badly by the naysayers and narcissist, who do you think the people are going to blame and come looking for when their peace is disrupted? When and if the power goes out and people are drifting to survive to feed themselves and their children. When and if a bomb hits one or two major areas in the country by a nation who sees the frailty of the US, and business as usual stops and goods and services cease. Who do you think the people will blame?
The day is soon coming when they better hide those red hats, Nazis symbols, and Confederate flags. These people will return to their holes under their rocks to hide from a mob of people who have been betrayed by their leaders and decided to take matters into their own hands. They will have gotten tired of being lied to and oppressed, threatened and bullied.
The oppressors are pushing their luck and treading on thin ice. The hate and greed will eventually reap the rewards, because it always does, which is a backlash from people whose backs are against the wall. All the guns and military weapons will not be enough to fight off the multiple attacks around the country. The cops are but a few when faced with a mob, and they have limits to their willingness to do their jobs.
There will be no one battle field, there will be many in different neighborhoods, towns and cities and the military will not be able to be everywhere at once. Neighbors will remember who had the traitor flag flying high and who wore the red hats, and who marched through their streets threatening the innocent, and which stores and businesses turned from serving humanity to becoming the oppressor.
The day is soon coming when no one will care what the news media says or whose side they are on, or what is said on social media, their words will be empty in the ears of those who have been stripped of their livelihoods, left to suffer and starve for no reason, only to be told to deal with it, be American and pull themselves up by their bootstraps when they can clearly see they never had any.
The Young will revolt against the elders; the Black and brown will take up arms in a fight to their deaths, and many Americans will feel the need to crush anyone who has cheered for their oppression and stood back to watch them be deprived of life, liberty and the happiness and normalcy they had a few days before.
There will be blood on blood. Neighbors against one another, small battles on the streets and big ones in the capitals of cities; smoke, bombs, and people screaming, crying and running and fighting for their lives. MAGA voters and politicians better hide them hats and the wealthy better leave the country. Because when it all hits the fan, the people will remember who wanted for this hellscape in their once peaceful country.
