Viewership in mainstream media has dropped tremendously since the November election because they have bowed to the incoming authoritarian regime. Independent media such as YouTube channels who glean from headlines and basically give their analysis and opinions cannot be relied on because they give false hope and are extremely biased in their coverage.

Favorite independent content creators who religiously follow the news cannot be trusted to get the whole picture of what is happening in the country or around the world because many of them have fallen to conspiracy theories and misinformation. And religious leaders are suspect because they have also bowed to the incoming regime.

So, in this new world of unreliable news, how does a person know what is really happening? How can anyone know what to expect and who to listen to, to prepare for whatever has been reported as happening or going to happen? UFOs, drones, rumors of wars, economic forecast, health scares and even the weather has been unreliable. All these sources have forced fear or confusion on the public to the point people are running to and fro not knowing what is real and what is not.

One way to gauge reality is to acknowledge what has happened to your own self each day you walk out the door until the time you walk back into your home. This is reality. How much did you actually spend at the grocery store? How are you physically feeling and how did you get better? How much was it to fill up your car? Did your child make it home from school safely? Were you harmed or hurt while you were out? These are your only realities and should be your source of information.

This kind of reality cannot be tampered with, twisted or spun to fit the opinions and views of cable news, political parties, or content creators. Only you know what happened during your day, how it effected your life, and how you need to move forward. Did you have a good day or a bad day? Did you carry on positive or negative communications with those you spoke with. Were they friendly or rude? Did you actually see a murder, a crime, or anything the news has offered as news. Did you see aliens? Did you see immigrants being hauled off to camps? Did you see a Black man killed by police?

If none of these things affected your day then they have no bearing on how you should see the world or how you should treat others. People can no longer allow the media to set the narrative of how they live their lives because you will eventually become a lost and bitter soul. Until the day you are bombed, shot, robbed, pulled over, or on the street starving for your next meal, you must realize that your reality is what you see and experience each day. And that is the real news fit to print.
