In its own subtle way, the Associated Press (AP) and its writers are regurgitating the hateful rhetoric of apostate Christian nationalist who are comparing Kamala Harris to the biblical character Jezebel. In essence, they are magnifying the hate into the social media sphere and ears of people who do not have the capability to discern what they are reading.
People who read their article are learning words and phrases of hate and right-wing talking points they can use to make up their mind on who to hate more, which leads them to choose their political candidate. This is political misinformation and propaganda at its most deceptive, from the depths of Satan.
Nevertheless, on the topic of the article, they are reporting on a religious group called the New Apostolic Reformation movement who claim to be messengers of God fighting a battle of spiritual war. They pull the character Jezebel out of the Old Testament book of 1 Kings and they accuse Harris of carrying a whorish, demonic spirit. Basically, they are name-calling in the name of religion.
The AP’s use of this information is disturbing because anyone who understands bible prophesy and secular propaganda can see how this is doing more harm than good. In fact, a better interpretation of the NAR use of this false narrative and the AP’s repeating of it fulfills a more appropriate use of the bible character and its interpretation for today’s use.
The book of Revelation updates the character and its true purpose for today’s world and both the NAR and the AP are guilty and fit the profile of those who capture the spirit of Jezebel in their existence. Revelation 2:18-28, which in short reads:
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.” Verses 20-23.
Properly interpreted, the NAR would be the Jezebel because they are false prophets who are teaching and seducing the people to sacrifice themselves to an idol, Trump, whom they claim is called of God, a bold face lie, and blasphemy against God since He did not call that man.
Second, the AP would be considered those who commit this form of spiritual adultery with them by repeating these false claims. God gives both a time to repent of their deeds and false prophesies but they refuse. They keep doing it over and over, undermining Blacks, women, and Democrat politicians, all made in the image of God.
God pronounces His judgment against them both by promising to kill their children, in other words, drowning them in lies and misinformation until they cannot see or ever know the truth and lose their souls to demonic forces. The depths of Satan are active in this society when people cannot see the harm done to the public with the words they speak and write.
The AP article is more of the same political hate speech spun by the evils of racism, hate, and false doctrine, going as far back as their depiction of slavery and how Black women were treated. “The term has a long history of being used in the U.S. against women, especially Black women. During times of slavery, the idea was used to justify the systemic sexual assault and rape of Black women and girls.” The AP needs to stick to politics and leave the gospel out of their mouths.
