In a thinly veiled mind trick, the media manipulates the brains of the people year after year, election after election, by attaching the economy to the current president, knowing damn well their corporate donors regulate the price of things.

Presidents can introduce policy for economic swing but corporations have the final say in controlling their cost and prices. This country cannot have it both ways. Either the invisible hand of supply and demand regulates the economy, or the president does; which is it?

The truth is corporations wait to see who will be president before setting their prices according to which president will do their bidding; impose regulations or not, and who will negotiate or bully and war best with foreign countries on trade. Currently, corporations rebel against presidents who seek to ease the pain for the people and fight for those who lessen regulations for their benefit.

Regardless, the media tilts the scales by standing behind and sugarcoating the policies of the presidents who have their back and who would just as well screw the American people for profit. This is how the media continues to even exist. Without the corporate advertising on their networks, they would not have a platform and no one to watch their lies.

The stock market stability and the actual cost of things is a perfect example of how the economy works for corporations or for the people. One has nothing to do with the other. A good stock market means the wealthy is getting their rewards and the cost of things determines if the people will suffer. How can the stock market be good but people struggle to make purchases? It is a scam they have been running for decades.

Yet every election the media lies consistently about how the economy is performing under certain presidents and cause the people to cast their vote accordingly. And the people have such a low level of economic education that they cannot see through the thin veil that divides them. Instead of teaching the people how it actually works, the media dupes the people and their anchors continue to double their million-dollar contracts.

Honestly, has the economy gotten better for the people over the years? Or has the wealth gap increased beyond reasonable levels? This scam will not stop until the people realize who actually controls the economy and why it is that they do not have anything, yet corporate CEOs are filthy rich and increasing their wealth.
