The people of the United States have been betrayed by their political leaders on both sides; the Democrats and the Republicans. The Republicans follow an agenda set forth by wealthy business people who seek to eliminate government regulations that stifle their business profits, and the Democrats have been grafted into the pay for play schemes set by the same wealthy people.
For over 50 years, the wealthy have played both sides against each other using the voters as a scapegoat to getting what they want. Nothing has ever gotten better for the people, but only better for the wealthy, as everyone can see this day. The wealth never trickled down as promised. The rich and powerful have purchased the country right out from under the people and will now dictate political and economic policy with a strongarm.
Many people have been distracted from what was happening except in the last 5 years, after COVID, when voters began to see how corporations priced gouged them after the pandemic and never lowered the cost of goods or of living. People can now see how the living standards of the US is far below that of many other countries of the same economic caliber.
The US population is subject overpriced healthcare, expensive housing and renting cost, lower pay that never meets the cost of living, and the entire infrastructure of the country is falling behind the rest of the world. Our educational system is failing, our safety nets of pensions, social security and the ability to unionize are being threatened or have been slashed, and more people are falling into poverty from the once blossoming middle class. Fortunately, people are waking up to these realities.
The problem is, there is a group of people who have been deceived and remain blind to the overall plot of the wealthy. Instead of seeing how the people have been manipulated over the past 50 years, and pitted against one another to keep us blind, they continue to point the fingers at their perceived enemies who have actually done nothing to them. They refuse to acknowledge the true culprits – the wealthy – and rather channel all their frustrations and hate toward those who they were told to blame, which are Blacks, immigrants, homosexuals, and women. What they now call DEI hires, Marxist, Vermin or the Woke mob.
Until these followers of their president king come to the realization of what is actually happening, instead of idolizing wealthy men and their spaced-out projects and their fantasies of futurism, we will fall to the unchecked power of the wealthy. Joe Biden announced this claim in his farewell speech when he said, “Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy. Our basic rights and freedoms. And a fair shot for everyone to get ahead…”
He then left our fate to us as a people without support of the government. He said, “History is in your hands. The power is in your hands. The idea of America lies in your hands.” This is a blatant admission that we are on our own and cannot depend on no one, the government or any outside help. The problem with this is without the support of all of us, including the MAGA base, we are going to fall slower and deeper into this ditch of misery. However, it will not be long before they themselves awaken to this tragedy and turn against those they supported in the last election.
The US government made a huge mistake in abandoning the people and turning the country over to the wealthy. At some point, there will be no one to consume their products and services and they will be left to the threat of a financial crash they have not seen since the Great Depression. Only this time, violence through revolution will come with that fall.
