The argument from the far right is that diversity training in corporations, schools, and government agencies falls under a particular type of racism, which teaches Blacks and other minorities that they are oppressed and belittled in their existence in normal American society. They say that it separates minorities from whites thus is based on racial division.

However, the point of diversity training would not be needed if there were no white racism in the first place. If whites did not discriminate against minorities in the workforce and every other area of life, banking, education, business, and social inclusion, there would be no need to train them not to be discriminatory. The level of denial in such matters is astounding.

Instead of admitting that there needs to be less discrimination among whites, whites would rather flip the script to claim that the training itself is racist. In other words, they are looking for a reason to remain covert discriminatory while they, at the same time, are painted as the victims of racism. This logic is not working among intelligent people, mainly Blacks and other minorities, who can see through this thinly veiled charade.

Furthermore, common sense, and historic laws such as the Civil Rights Act, was put in place to thwart discrimination in the real sense. However, whites have been attempting to claim that the Act worked and that there is no more discrimination in society, we are all equal and there is no more need for such laws. Yet that is not true at all. Racism and discrimination continued from the 60s throughout to today in subtle forms, yet not as blatant as the beginning of the century.

Proof of that surfaced during and after the Obama presidency and exploded even more when Trump became president. The subtleness became more blatant to the point of our current political and social dilemmas whereas more whites are claiming that Black history is a threat, white supremacy is rising, and politicians have come out of the closet of bigotry against Blacks, Jews, and other minorities.

Now Black history is a threat because whites feel that the history reveals too much of what their parents did toward Blacks in the 60s during the Civil Rights Movement and in early American history. Their reasoning? They say it is divisive and causes too much anguish among their children and cast dark and unfair racist imagery on whites. They have begun to remove mentions of that era from history books tagging it as a threat even to the point of national security; an exaggeration beyond belief.

The shame felt by white America has overtaken their ability to reason and make things better by just admitting that the only way discrimination and divisions amongst Blacks and whites can heal is if they themselves change their ways. The problem with that is they do not understand how to relate to people who are not white; the conflict is too deeply embedded into their souls to change without some policies, training, or intervention of government legislation.

This is where fear comes into play. Whites falsely believe that revenge is on the agenda of minorities, particularly Blacks, if they ever get equal power, so they are afraid that if they let down their guards, there will be some kind of racial massacre of the white population. Not only that, but they are afraid of losing what they have in life, their positions of authority, and their autonomy. So, in defense of their lives, they have decided that losing their lives is better than losing their autonomy to people they have been taught to look down on.

America will never get any better while racial discrimination is at its core, or without training, certain laws, and a sense of diversity. The country always has and always will be diverse, mixed with various racial makeups and cultures. White America simply needs to try and understand others and embrace other cultures and try to live in harmony. If this is too much to ask, then there is no reason whites should ever claim they are good Christian people.
