People who believe that arbitrary long-term confinement of humans will correct their behavior or bring law and order to general society, are people who have lost the human connection to others and a belief in human decency. Without a productive plan to behaviorally rehabilitate those confined or understand the causes of their behavior and deal with the causes, they brush over the fact that confinement alone with no attention only makes people worse. Out of fear of losing power they do this, and the only answer to their fear is to build more prisons. This approach lacks all logic and reason.
Since society has lost the basic concept of imprisonment, which is rehabilitation, they have jumped to using prison facilities simply for confinement without any efforts to change people’s behavior. “Lock’em up and throw away the key.” Confinement now means detaining people they deem as enemies or who does not fit into the social structure or align with their values. Homeless people, defenseless people, people of certain skin color or national origin, poor people, which all include the elderly and children.
This treatment of people is not only cruel based on the personal preferences of those who control these facilities and make money doing so, but of those who stand in power and can make decisions as to who they deem threats to society and deserve confinement. Though prison is reserved for the lawless of society, it does not seem to matter to those in charge; they are locking up innocent people down to toddlers and breast-feeding newborns. This is more even irrational than cruel.
The stupidity of this shows a lack of concern or care for other humans and a very low intelligence level of those making the rules. These people have lost all comprehension of understanding, compassion, justice, law and order, and the basic construct of human life itself. Which means they have lost their minds and resorted to a form of ignorance and barbarianism not seen since the dark ages. They have no consideration for how their actions affect the economy, health and possible spread of disease, or the surrounding neighborhoods, families, education, or job market.
They have resorted to profit-making, power and control of others, above the well-being of humanity and have abandoned all concepts of a living God, human decency or a moral compass. In the case of the United States and the Department of Homeland Security, their private army who are out chasing down and detaining anyone they can catch or who disrespects their illegitimate authority, are acting out of sheer disregard for the legal and God-given rights of others, which they will regret at the highest level in time to come.
Recently in the news, “A 2-month-old baby, Juan Nicolás, who became gravely ill while detained at ICE’s South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley.” The child and his mother were together during this medical episode, yet they did not receive the care needed by the facility’s medical staff, which were not on duty at the time. They have since been deported to Mexico.
In other of many reports throughout the nation, “A Myanmar refugee, with a nursing five-month-old at home, whisked abruptly to Texas by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. A Massachusetts woman in her third trimester, held under ICE’s guard at a hospital after experiencing medical distress in ICE detention. An Indian national who is three months pregnant and whose weight dropped to 90 pounds while in an ICE facility.”
“Against that uncertainty, courts are being confronted with harrowing stories about women being separated from their nursing infants or housed in cramped and ill-equipped ICE facilities while pregnant, in conditions that threaten their health and have, in some cases, been followed by miscarriages.”
This is the level of stupidity this administration has sunk to in logic, reason, and simple common sense. It is all cruelty on a level that is disconnected from the bonds of humanity. These people are not human; they are forces of darkness the world is waking up to in this new reality. To flex power and authority, men walk around with guns pointed at people, physically abusing some, snatching children from parents, and recently shooting and killing protesters or anyone who they claim defies their degenerate authority. All done under the guise of law and order.
These are men who work for men who have no concern for right and wrong, they are only seeking money and power and treat humans as bodies. They say they are upholding the law and its order but are daily breaking laws and taking the rights of the people, defying the international courts, and any laws of humanity set for the world. This is definitely a broken bond between who is human and who is not. It also reveals the level of ignorance and unintelligence that has spread throughout this movement and among this group of strange nonhumans.
