There are so many things wrong with this country it is hard to begin on how to fix it. But if there is a chance this country can return to somewhat normal, the following things must be addressed or else the country will collapse into chaos and turmoil.
Regardless of the outcome of the Midterm election, both Democrats and Republicans (or MAGA) need to realize that this country will not stand divided for long, and they can either divide into two sides, or watch the remaining structure further fracture and eventually dissolve.
Below are somethings that need to be changed immediately if the country is to return to a state of functioning normally. But even before these things are put into place, this country needs to develop a sense of morality based in trust, compassion, respect for others, and a sense of dignity.
- Overturn Citizens United – They need to get money out of politics and restrict donors to average people and not give precedence to the wealthy, who have shown they care only for themselves and not the citizens of the country. Money has poisoned this country and its morality to a degrading level.
- Unstack the Supreme Court – The Supreme Court has shown to be biased in their rulings and even taking away the right for the people to see and voice their concerns. They have hidden agendas afforded to the wealthy and to cover up scandals by political and business leaders. This kind of rule is against the nature of humanity and does not need to be made normal.
- Congressional term limits – There are too many old, relic politicians in the Congress and Senate who are so far out of touch with the average working family that they cannot relate to the basic needs of the people. They are set in their ways and refuse to advance the country as other nations have done for their people. Their worldview is outdated and vestige and need to be retired now.
- Erase the 13th amendment and eliminate slave servitude – No one in their right mind should consider slavery as a normal social function of humanity. Even in its diluted form of convict labor, should this even be a talking point. It leads to the oppression of the underclass and creates more criminals to feed the private corporate prison system than it should. If a person is found guilty of a crime, they should do their time and be properly rehabilitated and not have to slave for wealthy corporations.
- Reform the police and courts – The police are out of control. They are killing people, Black men specifically, for misdemeanor crimes or unfounded accusations because they fear for their life, which is a new legal excuse for murder plain and simple. They have killed babies, elderly people, and abused women and children all because they wear a badge sanctioned by the US government. The courts have also gone rogue, with corrupt lawyers and discriminatory juries. They rule according to race and privilege and power, which is against the laws of human nature and a serious injustice. They are both jokes to contend with.
- Reestablish the balance of power – The three branches of government have been corrupted and all power has been given to one branch, the executive. This gives all power into the hands of whoever is president regardless of how dysfunctional, criminal or deranged this person could be. The rules and Constitutional laws of Congress are bypassed and ignored. The representatives vote the way the president says without regard to the wishes of the people they actually represent.
- Hold accountable criminal politicians – Politicians are blatantly breaking laws directly in the faces of the public. Insider trading, shutting down congress for political leverage, and passing laws without the approval of the people and ignoring the laws referendums the people want. From states to capital hill, the laws being broken are damaging the country, even though the people pay taxes for proper representation.
- Abolish ICE – ICE is a rogue agency running without proper oversight or legal accountability. They are thugs with guns given immunity to murder people, cage them, and torture them for their own pleasure. They act on racism, misogyny and hate. These are white supremacist recruits with hateful hearts and unmerciful actions against people who cannot defend themselves. This organization needs to be dismantled and restructured to function as a decent immigration enforcement agency.
- Streamline immigration – There are many ways to enforce immigration decently and smoothly. More people need to be hired to address the process so people can enter and live their lives in peace and not terror. The courts must be unbiased and accommodating to those who want to come here legally and contribute as a citizen. The earth belongs to us all.
- Dismantle hate groups – Hate groups have risen in this country and must be stopped, dismantled and then ignored. They should be shamed out of the public eye and held accountable for any hate crimes they commit. These people do not belong in a civilize, functioning society and must be brought to justice. This goes for individuals who have no respect for others but believe they have rights over all and deserve to be treated better than others.
- Restructure voting system – The voting system must regain trust from the people and maintained by full proof methods of counting votes fairly and correctly. No one should be given access to voters’ roles accept the states in which the people vote. Gerrymandering and redistricting must be done to represent all people and demographics of the country and not give privilege to one group.
- Legitimize news media – Any propaganda news networks must be shut down for the sake of integrity and fact-based information needed by the country. All biased, lying, and entertainment channels that promote lies and alternative facts must be taken off the air. Only trustworthy and factual news should be given to the people so they can decide for themselves how to process the information. Freedom of speech is important and should not be exploited by misinformation.
- Cap and tax the wealthy – No one on earth should possess more than half of what the working class has, especially if that person refuses to contribute to the people that made them wealthy. No one should be allowed to make more than the equivalent than a stand-alone country’s GDP, which causes hoarding and greed and leads to the suffering of millions of others. This is a danger to humanity, inhumane and an evil on earth.
- Provide Jobs and Healthcare for all – In order to stabilize a nation, the people need to earn a living and be healthy enough to work those jobs. This is common sense and answers the basic needs to life. If men cannot understand this simple solution, they are unqualified to run a nation and should be ostracized. Affording life is not hard when the resources are available.
- Make racism illegal – Racism has tainted and bloodied the ground of this country since its founding and must be irradicated because it has caused too much pain and suffering on certain groups of people by other groups who believes in a false theory of race superiority. This is ludicrous on its own and should be expelled from among humanity. We are all God’s creatures and should be treated as such.
- Abandon wartime diplomacy, make peace – This country must learn that peace is needed on earth more than war. They must abandon their warmongering mindset and realize that peace on earth is the goal and desire from all people. Killing and bombing hundreds of thousands of people, women and children is not an answer to world peace. Many men have come to this realization and have matured to the point of knowing that in war, no one wins.
Unless this country can grow up and become real adults and not children full of fantasies, selfishness and apathy, this country will continue to crumble into an unrecognizable mound of filth, disease and suffering. The next administration must see that the country needs a make over toward the good for humanity and not just for those who can hoard the most money.
If they continue down the road of immorality, they will birth future generations of violent, hateful, and illiterate people. Eventually, people will tire of their hate and fight back, which will end their primitive breed of humanity forever.
