The traditional saying is the show must go on and we should laugh in times of hardship and we need not take everything so seriously and just keep it moving. But when is it time to take things seriously and stop with the entertainment. When are we actually going to see things for what they really are instead of burying our heads in the sand?
As this country is being robbed blind of its foundation and wealth by people who are greedy and callous against humanity, the public are apparently not taking it seriously enough. Late night comedians still make jokes, professional sports arenas are packed, and entertainment venues and celebrations are broadcasting award shows and spotlighting fashion.
These venues should be stopped by the public if they truly cared about restoring the country. But we know who controls the levers of power and who benefits from keeping these things going; the wealthy. Professional teams’ owners, network executives, and multimillion dollar celebrities are not touched by the political coup happening right before our eyes. They can always escape if it really hits the fan.
If this was such a dire situation, no one would attend these sporting events and someone would have the guts to stop the jokes and broadcast serious messages to the people on how to fight this evil and take the country back. Unfortunately, we live under the rule of greedy and indifferent people as we have been brainwashed by the dumbing down of our senses through television, alcohol, and making light of anything all too real.
The love of money has stolen our resolve, dignity and integrity and replaced it with stupidity and the envy and worship of idols. The president attended a football game and we all watched a halftime show in glee while at the same time this same man has caused infighting, division, hate, and violence to become normalized. This is a God-forsaken country and it deserves whatever is coming.
