A guy robs a bank. Other bank customers are witnesses and the bank cameras caught him in the act. The police are called, they come and chase the guy, catches him and two other people with him in the car. The police arrest them all and jail them.
The police chief decides to free the bank robbers and those with him and then turns around and calls for the arresting officer to be fired and arrested. Other police Captains and Sergeants tell him no way is that happening and the police chief gets an attitude and wants to sue them.
This is the level of legal stupidity, hypocrisy, and corruption this country is facing right now. With all the talk of Law and Order in this country where it pertains to illegal immigrants, the law at its highest level is being trampled on by the very people who make this claim.
Those who support the police chief are ok with this line of thinking as long as the law is applied to illegal immigrants and not to the bank robber and his accomplices.
What is sadder is that this whole story line is being treated as if it is a legitimate legal crisis and important enough to warrant serious journalistic investigation and the attention of the public. People around the world are laughing at this horrific distortion of justice being displayed in the United States.
Even worse, there are actual people, millions mind you, who believe this is the correct way to institute justice even though the bank robber was caught red-handed.
If “you cannot make this stuff up,” was a real person. The perverted injustice of this country has become a complete joke but being treated like it is the new normal for this twisted form of thinking to be taken seriously.
If the people in charge cannot handle this the way it should be handled, like a child needing correction, then no one in power should be there without adult supervision.
