Like a travel warning countries give to their citizens before traveling to dangerous places, people of color need to be warned that they are no longer safe around whites in America. Black Americans are not strangers to this phenomenon, going back years to forbidden sundown towns and counties, but Hispanics, Muslims, Asians, and other ethnicities must also heed these warnings.
Considering the ICE raids, the uncertainty of who they consider documented or undocumented, legal or illegal, left to their discretion, anyone could be in danger of being stuffed into a van and hauled away then bussed to a camp or private prison. And now that the suspension of habeas corpus is being toyed with and due process being stripped, who knows what people may face when being pulled over for a simple traffic violation.
Not only is there the possibility of becoming a missing person (or child), but there are men who have been deputized by law enforcement and government agencies as bounty hunters – most likely racist in white supremacy drag – who not only fantasize about impersonating police officers to get their brutality on, but salivate at murdering people of color by hanging, drowning, or simple execution style assassinations.
These men wear mask which could make them neighbors, co-workers, or even family members. They lurk in grocery stores, on various job sites, near schools, and some have the authority to kick in front doors and drag folks and their children out of bed and into the streets, with no warrant, no probable cause, but for any reason they make up in their demented minds. This is cause for serious concern and makes the USA a dangerous place to live.
Under the guise of finding illegal immigrants because of a misdemeanor, the government has basically given white supremacist men the go ahead and do whatever they want to do that fulfills their racist blood thirst. Every day, people of color must take note of their surroundings, the company they keep, who their co-workers and neighbors really are, and take notes on who to talk to and trust.
This is not disrespect toward the white people who did not vote for this and who are disgusted by it, but no one can actually tell who is who any longer, or when the good ones will shift to the dark side. It is all a gamble now. The government is paying people to be brown shirts and if a white family falls on hard financial times in the coming recession, who knows how desperate they will get.
Who knows if the white Karen or red neck Bob in Walmart on their phone are not calling ICE or the police just because they suddenly and spitefully feel unsafe? No one knows how the authorities will act when they arrive. Should people carry guns to defend against what could be their last day of freedom, or even of their life? This is how dangerous and suspect white folks are and will become.
Can lawyers be trusted? Doctors and nurses? Teachers and principals, or even grocery check out clerks, toll booth takers, or Uber drivers? All are suspect under this regime and its Hitler style Gestapo. Trust, neighborly love, and kindness have been ripped from the land and we are all faced with hate, violence, and suspicion.
No more trips or day getaways with the white neighbors/friends. No more dinner parties in white suburban or rural homes. No more sleep overs with your and their children. No more little league games, school functions, or field trips being away from your child. Capturing your child for ransom could be the ultimate set up and trap to detain, incarcerate, and deport a mother or father on suspicion alone. Or in the case of Black families, police brutality or assassination.
Sad to say, but the USA have become a haven of devils and modern-day enslavers. They are suspect of any kind of behavior toward innocent people trying to live their lives. Too bad the innocent white people must undergo this bad taste and image, but their leader in chief and his supporters have made life hard and dangerous for the entire nation. All because they want to use the N-word.
