If a judge can defend you regardless of what laws you break, and get you out of all the criminal cases you are being accused of, you have a benefit and a privilege not many people have. This kind of privilege comes only for the advantage of white men; old, wealthy white men in the US.
Appointed by the incoming president and sitting on a major US judicial bench, this judge who blocked release of special counsel Jack Smiths report has not only guarded against the prosecution of the 45th president, but has thrown out legitimate cases against him just because the judge is his personal friend and receives who knows what amount of money from his campaign.
“Florida Judge Aileen Cannon on Tuesday temporarily blocked the Justice Department from releasing a final report by special counsel Jack Smith, in the latest setback for federal criminal charges against Donald Trump.”
In fact, “Prosecutors dropped two criminal cases against Trump after he won the 2024 election, and the final report by Smith may be the last chance for prosecutors to explain their decisions. Trump was charged with election interference in Washington, D.C., and with hoarding classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort and refusing to return them to the FBI. Smith dropped the cases after the November election, following a longstanding Justice Department policy against prosecuting a sitting president.”
How convenient for the 45th to walk away from his crimes and not be touch by the so-called strong arm of the law. This is not law and this judge is not a real judge, but a patsy placed to do favors for the wealthy against the precedence of US rules of Law and Order. In addition to the get out of jail free card, the 45th can also call names and bitch about the procedure of the law and praise his favor from the judge. “He personally attacked Smith at a press conference on Tuesday, calling him “a mean, nasty guy” and praising Cannon’s decision to throw out the documents case.”
US Law and justice is a joke and will be remembered and documented as that in the history books, if scholars are allowed to record the truth from this point on. Rewriting history is an agenda ruled by the same people who praised this distortion of law and order. This country is under a curse of wickedness and transgressions against God, who they swear to love and believe in. What a joke and a sad ending to a historical nation.
