It is hard to mentally process the accusations and said evidence being displayed about the leisure activities of the world’s most wealthy and powerful men and women. It means that we live in a truly dark world occupied by entities more diabolical than we knew. However, if these things are true and men possess the capabilities to do to and use children for such wicked and personal pleasures, then these people deserve everything God has planned for them in the end.
Nowhere in the Bible does the prophets describe a time on earth when men will be tortured by man-made and environmental catastrophes and entities never seen before, except in Revelation during the return of the Lord in the last days. The description of the judgment of God falls on those who are unrepentant of their sins and who openly transgress the laws and will of God. These men have dismissed the concept of a God and have embraced their own destinies and ideologies of life and death, and the consequences of evil, or lack thereof.
They have lived comfortably on earth under their own rules and laws and have exploited the world and its resources, treated the inhabitants as merchandise and chattel and plundered the earth for their own pleasures. There will be many who will defy and deny God up until their last dying breath regardless of the many infallible proofs God will give to humanity to make them turn from their wicked ways and that He alone is the creator of humanity and of the earth and the elements of the heavens.
They will continue to worship idols of material things, gold, and silver, and the wealth of the earth. They will continue to cruelly rule over mankind doing whatever comes into their evil hearts and live the lifestyles of sin and the lust of their flesh. God will show signs of judgment on the earth, yet they will ignore the signs and continue in sin regardless of the troubles they see and the consequences they face. Below are a few signs God will send on earth during His coming and afterward in the next time age, when there is no more mercy on earth and His grace is removed. And there will be little man can do to stop or change it.
It begins with the seals of judgment at the second coming of the Lord. This is a time of great tribulation when men will have destroyed the earth by use of their man-made weapons of destruction against one another, nation against nation in wars and battles of power over resources. The earth will come under great tribulation and destruction, and parts of the earth will be uninhabitable; but this will not stop the rich and powerful from continuing to exploit the world. They will only rearrange the system to their advantage.
The first four seals are opened in Revelation 6:1, and describes the wars, famines, and destruction of parts of the earth. The fifth seal explains how the Lord will comfort and reassure his people that He will judge them that have oppressed them throughout time. Once He secures his people, he goes after the rich and powerful.
When the sixth seal is opened, “The kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:15-17. Men will begin to realize they have made a big mistake on bringing destruction to the earth and then seek for the mercy of God because of the conditions they have created.

After the physical, war-torn destruction of the earth, the cities and countries, all people will suffer the aftermath, but Revelation mentions the kings of the earth, the rich men and warmongers in particular, because they are targeted by the Lord first and foremost for their disobedience, and are held accountable for the destruction of the world. Most innocent people will die but those left living will be protected by God’s promise to the faithful believers. As wealthy men hide in their man-made bunkers under the earth, they will cry for the rocks to fall on them because they will try to escape the wrath of God and His judgment, but to no avail.
“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.” Revelation 7:1. The sixth seal also halts the wind from blowing across the earth and spreading toxic war chemicals, for not to hurt the earth or the sea or trees until God has sealed those with the seal of God; the 144,000 in the tribes of Israel and another great multitude of those protected by God on earth.
“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” Revelation 8:1. The opening of the seventh seal prepares the way for the trumpet judgments, which were worse than the opening of the previous six seals. “And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.” Revelation 8:6.
When the first trumpet sounded, hail and fire mingled with blood fell from the sky and the trees and grass were burned up. The fallout of the weapons of war tore through the earth and the blood of innocent people were mingled with the firebombs and the debris of weapons falling from the sky. All the places where rich men vacationed and enjoyed in life are destroyed and they could no longer lay claim to the most beautiful parts of the earth as their playground of pleasure. The mingled blood is a testimony of the harm they have caused millions of innocent people. (Rev. 8:7).
When the second trumpet sounded, parts of mountains, broken by missiles and blast, fell into the sea and poisoned it with the blood and bodies of its creatures. The wealthy’s ability to sail their yachts and boats was immediately taken from them. The merchants of the sea and their ships were destroyed, which stopped their transition of goods and resources around the world and caused their wealth to collapse. (Rev. 8:8).

When the third trumpet sounded, a star fell from heaven (the atmosphere), such as cosmic matter or particles from space that had been affected by the blast of earthly weapons and fell into the rivers and lakes which were made bitter, and men and animals died of disease. The water sources were contaminated and nothing men could do to clean the water worked, which led to sicknesses, disease, famine and illnesses among humanity.
When the fourth trumpet sounded, the sun and moon were darkened and the days and time were shortened. The atmosphere changed and day became dark most of its time and night lasted longer. This caused crops, trees, and plants not to grow in season, which led to more suffering from lack of proper food source. Rich men lost their expensive food delicacies and enjoyment of tropical pleasures and lifestyle. Even after the devastation of the first four trumpets however, they still did not repent of their transgressions and sins against God and humanity. And the angels warned them of the next three trumpets coming saying, “Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!” Revelation 8:13.
When the fifth trumpet sounded, the devil was fully released upon the earth and there came a demonic force that brought forth creatures that the earth and humanity has never before seen or heard of. Maybe they were of a mutant species of animals and creatures born of the toxicity of nuclear radiation or the chemical weaponry of men’s hands that brought forth evil beings. These beings were released into the world and tortured men for a specific amount of time ordained of God to punish evildoers.
“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.” Revelation 9:3-11.

Many theologians speculate that these locust-type creatures represent military helicopters, drones, or missiles that are used by armies of the nations; and many interpret these things to be literal demons that looked exactly as described in the Word, but both can be true, yet they never see the possibility that these are newly-formed beast that arise from the aftermath of chemical war, mutant animals from polluted waters or even alien life forms that come from a disrupted heavenly atmosphere. In other words, no one knows what these creatures are and what to expect. Regardless, they come here to torture men for five months, or according to God’s timing.
When the sixth trumpet sounded, more torture from unknown beast released from the great Euphrates river for a certain appointed time to kill a third part of men. “And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.” Revelation 9:17-21.

The sad thing about this sixth trumpet and its devastation is that there are men who still refused to repent of their evil deeds. They find a way to live among demonic forces and continue to exploit humanity and the resources of the earth, but God’s judgment is not done yet. God has other plagues He sends on them. When the seventh trumpet is sounded, the beast is revealed and the rich and powerful lose their kingdoms and power to Jesus, as He takes power over the earth and prepares to fight against the beast, the false prophet, and the dragon, and the men of the earth are judged because they all worship and take the mark of the beast.
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:11-17.

Rebellious and stubborn men are further judged and condemned for having taken the mark of the beast. “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:9-11.
Even after the opened seals and the seven trumpets of God, the rich and powerful men refused to repent and turn from their wicked ways. In fact, they decided to prepare for war against the Lord and His holy army of saints and angels (or believers of the gospel of Christ). But God had another round of plagues for the rich and powerful and give them one last chance to repent; and these last plagues were filled with the wrath of God. After the time of tribulation upon the earth and the judgment of the trumpets of God, the mark of the beast and after He sealed and gathered those who were his, He went in for the final judgment against the remaining of humanity.
The first vial of plagues, “And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.” Revelation 16:2.
The second and third vial of plagues, “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.” Revelation 16:3,4.
The fourth and fifth vial of plagues, “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.” Revelation 16:8-11.
Throughout the plagues, men contacted skin sores and disease because they worshipped the beast; they could not drink the waters because it was contaminated with blood, and they were scorched with burning fire and heat from the fallout of nuclear weapons and atmospheric disruption and transformation, yet they still blasphemed God for their torture and because of the plagues, and they did not repent. Then arose the kings of the east who deceived the rest of the rich and powerful to turn against God and make war with Him at the battle of Armageddon.
The sixth vial of plagues, “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” Revelation 16:12-14.

The seventh vial of plagues was a great earthquake, “And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” Revelation 16:20, 21.
“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” Revelation 17:12-14.
Then came the final judgment of Babylon and the kingdoms of the earth where God will strip the wealth from the rich and powerful. “For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.” Revelation 18:17-20.
Once their wealth is taken, the rich and powerful become aggravated and vengeful and come against the people of God with persecution worldwide. But God intervenes with all His holy angels and saints to judge the nations in their sin. “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats…Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Matthew 25:31 – 46.
Once the nations were judged by Christ, they became exceedingly angry and gathered themselves together to come against God and the camp of the saints. But the prophet of Revelation warns them that God will call all the fowl of the air and beast of the field to prepare to come to the great supper. The flesh of the kings of the earth and the mighty men will be eaten by birds and beast if they waged war against God.
“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.” Revelation 19:17-19.

This is when Satan and the beast and false prophet are bound in the prison of the bottomless pit for a thousand years as a result of the nation’s threatening God and His people. “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years…And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:7-10.
Then, God calls the fowl of the air and the beast of the field to eat the flesh of great men and of kings and mighty men who have come against the camp of the saints to make war at the battle of Armageddon. The rich and powerful have now lost their riches and wealth, their trade routes and their great power over cities and nations and all their idols of gold and silver, and they are finally defeated. They cry and weep for torment and regret as they watch God exalt the apostles and prophets and saints they persecuted and killed. They watch the kingdom and people of God rise in leadership and priesthood to take control of the whole earth.
The rich and powerful will suffer a horrible fate in time to come. They live deliciously right now over the people of the world as they hoard and store up wealth, power with greed, but will soon face long periods of suffering and torment. Ironically, they bring it on themselves by war and destruction of the earth that they enjoy and use as their playground for pleasure. The people of God will be protected at that time as God takes vengeance on evil and wicked men. To punish them for their cruelty, hate, barbarianism, and covetousness.
