The invasion of Venezuela is based on the same ideology, to take their oil and make wealthy men even richer. It is all about greed and control of resources across the globe.
These people have no concept of innovation or interest in advancing society into the future. The growth of various renewable sources—such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, and biomass—has created a more resilient energy portfolio, making it easier to reduce reliance on oil.
Scientist have discovered that harnessing energy from the natural power of the sun and the wind is cleaner for the earth, and cheaper seeing it is a free resource given by nature itself. The oil and coal industry of fossil fuels has run its course, and it is time for a better and cleaner source of energy for the globe. Though still needed, can be significantly reduced.
Oil barons have convinced politicians to roll back renewable energy policies and return to oil and coal policies that do not advance society but drives them to violent takeovers of other nations that are rich in oil resources. Even though energy cost for households and infrastructure is much cheaper using renewable energy, politicians ignore the facts and continue the use of oil causing high energy cost and unnecessary international wars.

They ignore the facts and suggested advancements that science record and choose instead to engulf themselves in endless global conflict for the purpose of holding power and political influence. They ignore the best interest for society and fulfill their own needs and greed. This will not last too much longer as the people of the world realize that renewable energy is wiser and cheaper than oil.
A nation that has leadership who acknowledges new forms of energy and are innovative to advancement will succeed and become energy sufficient because the sun and wind can be harnessed from anywhere in the world, unlike oil and coal. They can avoid wars and grow the technology for all the world to use cheaper and at most freely. That nation will grow prosperous and healthier.
