All common sense is lost in this country, which defines its culture throughout. Laws and amendments are made and upheld but some laws are contrary to decency, common sense, or public safety. The high courts seem to accommodate those who are greedy, violent, and sexually immature.

For instance, the second amendment, corporate power, and drug legalization are just some that contradict the need for public safety and give power to the wrong people, who eventually abuse that power or privilege.

These contradictory laws say a lot about the culture in the country because there are two different views of life, which sets up two different tiers of justice. People will defend the right to carry a gun because it is a constitutional right but never stop to think if everyone should carry a gun, or what kind of gun.

The courts think the same way without regard for public safety but laser focused on whether or not its Constitutional. This thinking disregards the rights of people who have a God-given right to life. The same could be said for abortion, same sex marriage, or the right to work or be healthy. Not everyone thinks the same way.

If the country had a unified theory of a single culture, like many other countries do, we would not be so reckless in making and upholding laws. It makes no sense to have a second amendment right but not control who has those rights or put stop-gap safety nets or barriers surrounding the law. Which, unregulated, has ended in mass murders, school shootings, police brutality and abuse of power and increased domestic violence.
