The political division in this country has never been as extensive as it is right now, in this lifetime. There have always been legitimate political division between the two parties on a professional, civil level, but nothing to the point of hate, violence, and even one party being targeted by the US military. This vitriol is coming mainly from the president of the United States, his far-right extremist followers, white nationalist groups, and even the Evangelical church.
The president has openly, in public, admitted he hates the Democrats, see them as his enemy, and wish them harm. All because they did not vote for him. He has indirectly requested military generals to mobilize against Democrat-run cities he considers the enemy from within. He suggested the military use urban cities as training grounds, which within the next few days ICE agents invaded a Chicago apartment building.
Far-right extremist gangs such as the Proud Boys, the Patriot Front and other vigilante groups have joined other three-letter government agencies to form the overfunded ICE agency who travels the country terrorizing both legal and illegal citizens under the guise of Law and Order. They are ignoring Constitutional rights, civil rights, and human rights by chasing and imprisoning people in unconscionable conditions.
White nationalist groups who have resurrected the Nazi Party, the KKK and other ethno-euro hate groups are using social media to spread lies and violent threats against Democrats and anyone who opposes the agenda of the President or his loyalist. They have built networks of trolling bots and AI memes of propaganda to recruit young white men from online and college campuses. They all scream extremely hateful rhetoric by calling the opponents communist, socialist, terrorist, national security threats, radical leftist, and vermin. They have made-up an organization they call antifa (which actually means anti-fascist), and include anyone who disagrees with the president as one of them.
Sadly, the Evangelical Christian church has been pulled into this inhumane government overthrow by proclaiming that a person cannot be a Christian and vote for the Democratic Party. This is a lie. In fact, most people do not vote at all but have political views from both sides of the isle. They have lost the lessons of the gospel by straining at gnats and swallowing camels. They are ignoring the sins of the other political party and ignoring the teachings of the gospel of Christ.
It is being revealed that for decades, the church has been teaching their members to side-eye any Democrat voters, people who live in urban cities, and all educated liberals because they are demons who practice satanic activity, criminals, and thieves. They point to abortion, crime and homosexuality but refuse to look at themselves of people who do the same, only not as openly. The hypocrisy is astounding. Republicans get abortions, practice homosexuality, and commit crimes, domestic violence, and drug use as often as any Democrat.
The reason for the division is becoming clearer as this administration and the MAGA base are exposed for their hypocrisy and desire for violence. Any student in the future can look back and study the notes from any intelligent writer today and see where the problem originates. They can no longer hide their hate for and fear of their fellow citizens and neighbors because the admission comes from the top in his own words and trickles down to his voter base.
