The conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Gaza was initially brokered and ignited by the Trump administration when he moved the US embassy to Jerusalem. Before that, peace in the Middle East was stable under the deal made between the Obama administration and Iran.

When Trump blew up the deal and moved the embassy, it caused an internal grumbling within the Palestinian people and caused the chest of Israel to stick out a little further, assured the US had its back. Reported during the Trump administration, the NYT covered the ordeal and said, “Pope Francis and the Chinese foreign ministry joined the chorus of voices warning that the move could unleash a wave of violence across the region. At a meeting in Brussels, Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson was sternly reproached by European allies.

Standing next to Mr. Tillerson, the European Union’s top diplomat, Federica Mogherini, made clear that Europe saw the president’s decision as a threat to peace in the Middle East.

At least one former Obama administration official also weighed in with sharp criticism. John O. Brennan, the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, said in a statement that Mr. Trump’s action was “reckless” and would ‘damage U.S. interests in the Middle East for years to come and will make the region more volatile.’

Administration officials said they expected the blowback from the Palestinians and others, but they asserted that the move would accelerate, not hinder, the peace process. Mr. Trump’s promise to move the embassy appealed to evangelical voters and pro-Israel American Jews, including Sheldon Adelson, the Las Vegas casino magnate. By delivering on that promise, Mr. Trump’s aides said, he was enhancing his credibility as a peacemaker.”

This was a clear warning from the world that what Trump did was sure to ignite a problem. Who knows if the attack of Oct 7 came from resentment, and disrespect the Palestinians felt after the embassy move, yet no dots have been connected to either. However, people hold grudges, vow revenge and make plan for years.

The move was offensive to people who have occupied that land for as long as the United States have been in existence, yet the West (the US and Europe) have been slowly moving in on the land via Israel, since Israel’s establishment as a nation in 1948.

It was documented, “President Trump, formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, reversing nearly seven decades of American foreign policy and setting in motion a plan to move the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to the fiercely contested Holy City.

The president cast his decision as a break with decades of failed policy on Jerusalem, which the United States, along with virtually every other nation in the world, has declined to recognize as the capital since Israel’s founding in 1948.

“It would be folly to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a different or better result,” Mr. Trump declared.

The president said the decision to recognize Jerusalem should not be construed as the United States taking a position on whether, or how, the city might ultimately be shared. But he offered little solace to the Palestinians, making no mention of their long-held hopes for East Jerusalem to be the capital of a Palestinian state.”

First of all, it is quite unbelievable that the statement as quoted by the NYTs of Trump saying, “It would be folly to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a different or better result,” was actually said by Trump himself. There is no way he could have constructed a sentence of that level of intelligence, even in the beginning of his administration when his brain was fresh.

Second, Trump is known for reversing decades and even centuries old laws and precedence’s during his term that would throw domestic and foreign policy into turmoil. Which is why the country and world is in the mess it is now. He should have left well enough alone. But does the media go far enough back to connect the dots and tell the real story? No, they are as dumbfounded and delusional as Trump supporters.

Now, with the conflict going on in Gaza, the world is shocked at the treatment of Palestinians to the point it has come before the International Court of Justice. Of course, most of the nations that sit on the court agrees that Israeli actions are overkill and considered genocidal to a degree, except the US, Europe, and Hungary (led by Viktor Orban, who considers his nation a Christian nation).

“Orbán defends his policies as “illiberal Christian democracy“. ‘We [Hungarians] are not a mixed race and we do not want to become a mixed race.’ Two days later in Vienna, he clarified that he was talking about cultures and not about race.”

“The United States—the world’s biggest funder of Israel’s government and military—was joined by the United Kingdom, Hungary, and Fiji in speaking in favor of Israel’s illegal occupation, while 45 countries and three organizations testified against the Israeli government.”

The coincidence of the nations that support Israel being Christian-based nations leave an ugly stain on the reputation of Christianity around the world. It also pits the Islamic world against the Christendom world of the West, which is basically what the West wants, a holy war. And it is no coincidence that Trump’s appeal to evangelical voters was a part of his decision to move the embassy. They are a Christian nationalist regime hell bent on spreading their fake form of false Christian doctrine throughout the world.

This is basically a religious war being organized by the West against the Middle East. Throw Russia and Ukraine into the mix, and you have a recipe for WWIII based on religious and political power plays. The conflict being reviewed by the International Court is a prelude to attempting peace before the great war, but as long as the US and the UK stand firm on supporting Israel, the war seems closer than ever.

If countries can defy a world court and do whatever they want to do, that country is not and was never apart of the world plan for unity or peace, but a plan to take control and rule the world. The ICJ is supposed to be a place where nations can come and resolve their issues. But if a few nations completely ignore their ruling’s, they cannot be considered a peaceful or compliant nation.

“International Court of Justice – The Court is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. It was established by the United Nations Charter, which was signed in 1945 in San Francisco (United States), and began work in 1946 in the Peace Palace, The Hague (Netherlands). 193 countries are members.

The Court, which is composed of 15 judges, has a twofold role: first, to settle, in accordance with international law, legal disputes between States submitted to it by them and, second, to give advisory opinions on legal matters referred to it by duly authorized United Nations organs and specialized agencies.

Judgments delivered by the Court (or by one of its Chambers) in disputes between States are binding upon the parties concerned.”

“While U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said last week that the settlement expansion is “inconsistent with international law,” reversing a Trump-era policy, human rights attorney Noura Erakat noted that in the ICJ hearing, the U.S. “framed compliance with international law as an impediment to [the] political process.”

Sad to say but has to be said. The United States will regret their support of Israel in the long term. Currently, their support is pitting the world (and their own citizens) against them and though they claim to have the military superpower, if enough countries come together and decide to wage a war against them to stop genocide or any further world conflicts, they will not win so easily, and all the suffering other nations have felt as a result of their occupations and colonization, will be felt internally, by the US.
